Congratulations to my dear daddy! he got his third bintang - J.M.N. on tuesday. J.M.N. actually stands for Johan Mangku Negara (note to angah : it's not Johan Makan Nasik !!)
his first one was A.M.N. then it was K.M.N.
i got home just to go to the ceremony. it was great to be so near with the agong and everything! :-> i didnt take a lot of pictures cause it was actually forbidden to do so in the Istana. hehe.. so i quietly took some anyway. i was warned like... twice! takut kene tulah la pulak nanti! :-S
it was such an experience.. my first time being in such an event yg penuh adat istiadat. the guys that were in charged of bringing those agong's stuff ( alat2 kebesaran diraja dan kerajaan ) like the keris pendek and panjang, cokmar, pending diraja and so many other things, are all sooooooo cute and handsome!! dad said that they are all in the army so carrying those stuff must be a part time job or something.
i was wide awake and alert for the first 30 minutes ( since dad's name was announced among the top 20 names). but from where i was seated, i couldnt see a thing! i mean.. i could see the permaisuri sitting there in front. but when the agong actually handed the bintang, i could only see tiang tiang and tiang. haiyaaaa :-S :-S :-S
so i actually dozed off after 30 minutes and i almost had a dream where i was running wild in a garden full of roses! i couldve sworn i ALMOST fell off the chair. thank god i didn't. the ceremony ended after an hour and 15 minutes. :-D
